Energy Demand & Reduction of the GNG.

Energy keeps our civilization running. The global energy consumption by 2040 is estimated to reach 740 million terajoules; by 2050, the global energy use could triple. Around 85% of the energy supply comes from non-renewable energy sources, oil, fossil fuel, and gas. However, there are two major problems with that:

  • Non-Renewable Energy Sources mean that their quantity is finite on Earth, and all will be used up one day.
  • They emit a huge amount of CO2 and contribute to the acceleration of Global Warming.

 

Meeting the climate goal by supplying the energy demand while reducing greenhouse gas emissions is the mission of humanity.
